A unique range of water-soluble pencils from Derwent. Made in the UK using drawing ink pigments rather than watercolour, these offer bright, vibrant colours which behave like transparent drawing inks when used with water - therefore they are permanent once dry and can be layered without bleeding into each other. Very useful for adding a bit of zing to your watercolours (i.e. for floral subjects etc.) or mixed media artworks and they have been heavily adopted by cartoonists and Manga artists. The colours really explode when water is added to them on the paper - they are definitely the most exciting of the watersoluble pencils if you're a colour addict!
