We go to great lengths to ensure that we are getting the right product ranges to best suit our customers wants & needs. We want to have confidence in what we are selling you, and therefore we will never stock anything that won't do the job it's supposed to do - so we might not have the cheapest products but you can be sure that the products we provide won't hinder your creative efforts. Unfortunately in art, like many other things in life, "you get what you pay for" - if it's cheap, there's probably a reason why. Ultimately art is supposed to be enjoyable - products that are not fit for purpose will hinder that enjoyment. It would be like trying to play golf with a snooker cue - might be fun to start with, but it would be very limiting!
We have an extensive knowledge of art products, either as working artists ourselves or from having strong relationships with professionals & tutors, suppliers & manufacturers, built up over the past 18+ years - not only of the products we stock, but also those that may be available on the market worldwide. If we don't know the answer for you straight away we will do everything we can to find out for you, and to source it for you if at all possible.

SHIPPING & DELIVERY POLICY
We process all orders immediately during working hours, or within the first morning if received outside of working hours. We will contact you if there are any queries or issues with your order, otherwise we will pick, pack and get your order to you by one of the following methods:
Instore Collection: you can collect your order from us in Sidmouth at any time during our open hours of Monday to Friday 9.30am till 5pm and 9.30am till 3.30pm on Saturdays. Obviously this is free!
Local Delivery: Deliveries are usually made by us personally within postcode areas of EX10, EX14, EX1, EX12, EX13 when possible, rather than leaving it in the hands of a courier company. We can deliver personally to other areas within Devon by arrangement (possibly for an extra charge if applicable) i.e. for large items or tight timescales etc.
All other UK Mainland Deliveries:
Our standard shipping rate is £5 and free for orders over £30.00
Courier costs have increased, and the available services depleted, over recent years and therefore we are not longer able to send some large items out by courier, at least not at the standard delivery charge. This is clearly listed on the items affected on the website, but we reserve the right to contact you if something else is being adversely affected since the last website update.
Delivery Timescales:
Our standard shipping is undertaken by national courier companies, usually on a 3-5 working day service and we will provide you with tracking details for your order once the courier has been booked.
We can arrange next day delivery for an extra charge if you require your items quicker than this.
The timescales provided by the couriers are guidelines and not guaranteed, therefore if you are needing your order before a deadline please contact us and we will arrange a guaranteed service for an additional charge.
However, collection in person is obviously a totally free and totally safe option, whenever it is possible for you to do so.
Returns Policy:
Refunds will of course be made for faulty/damaged products.
If you wish to return an unwanted item, please return the item to us within 14 days from receiving your items with receipt / proof of order. If it is received in its original saleable condition we will issue refund once we have received the item/s back with us. We are unable to refund original shipping costs or return costs - we work hard to keep our price low for you all year around and therefore unfortunately do not have the margins to absorb these expenses.
We can not offer refunds on: Gift Vouchers, Bespoke/Cut to order items, and items in clearance sales.
