Cadmium Yellow Medium Hue, a mid-toned, slightly red yellow is perfect to add heat, energy and a focus into a painting. Mixed wet into wet with Cerulean Blue you will have a vast array of textured greens in various tones depending on the colour & water-paint balance. It disperses beautifully in water for smooth, rich washes.  Daniel Smith's new formulas provide all the density and richness of classic cadmium colours, virtually identical in colour to their namesakes, with mixtures and strong tints – you’ll find a little goes a long way. Their working properties are also nearly identical to those of the low-soluble cadmium colours all without the toxicity of pure cadmium pigments.
